The Cheshire Cat

Following the creation of the composers in clay workshops, I decided to create my own maquette. The cheshire cat was my chosen subject, creating him in clay with the then intention of carving in stone.

The stone block was started but not completed. This was the point I realised I wanted to sculpt but not necessarily then replicate in stone.

The Cheshire cat is awaiting funding and skills aquisition to recreate using lost wax bronze casting.
